Our Future
As the years have passed, God has blessed our faithfulness by adding to our number. However, we recognize the church culture has changed from a population who grew up recognizing the role of the church in life to a population who question the relevance of the church in the larger society. The church body was once composed of individuals who grew up in families and communities who attended weekly services, to the body now being a mix of those with traditional values and those seeking an understanding of the purpose of religion in their life. To adapt to these needs, our new building will reflect the change from a single-use to a multi-use facility. We plan to be a location where members of the community can gather, whether it’s a communal meal following a funeral, hosting classes, or a local basketball tournament. It will also be where we meet as a body for worship and education.
